For the curious:
The pictures in this website are a mixed bunch. They come from different cameras, and differ greatly in quality. This is why:
In the distant past I used a Nikon F90x exclusively (with 20mm + 28-70mm + 70-300mm lenses), except underwater. My films were routinely scanned by my photolab only after 2002 (e.g. India), so many of my favorite older pictures are still film/paper bound. A few older pictures were scanned manually and some representatives are here (unfortunately, usually at lower quality - e.g. Far East or South of the Equator). I hope to convert more pictures from my past travels to a digital format in the not too distant future.

In 2005 I started using a digital camera (Canon SD200) in addition to the F90x (e.g. most of the NYC pics) and discovered the convenience of digital... After the SD200 died under tragic circumstances, I moved to an SD800IS.

Then in 2008 I finally commited to digital with a Nikon D300 (with 18-200mm/f3.5-5.6 + 35mm/f1.8 + 50mm/f1.8 + Tokina 11-16mm/f2.8 lenses). Pictures were slowly added to this website, which unfortunately I don't have the time to update much (e.g. Utah, Floating Jaws, Daria, and Neela).
